Don’t simply do 12 weeks of training and then give up and never come back! Think of these 12 weeks as your introduction to gym life. You will train 3x per week with a Personal Trainer, learn about training techniques and have a training programme written specifically for you. You will also learn about nutrition and what style of eating suits you best.
Instead of this being 12 weeks of “punishing” yourself, I hope that you will spend 12 weeks learning about how to lead a healthy lifestyle and changing your habits. At the end of this time, you will have the tools that you need to stay on track. I am not a fan of “crash” or “fad dieting”. Diets of this nature are unhealthy, unsustainable and occasionally dangerous. There are countless journal articles which prove that crash dieting, while effective in the short-term, will actually make you put on more weight when you stop than you lost. I will work with you to look at what you currently eat and factor this in so that I can give you manageable advice on how you can improve what you eat for the rest of your life. Simple, sustainable, manageable. It may be that you only need to make a few tweaks which will make a world of difference.
